Episode Overview

Russert and Munch team up to investigate the death of a retired police officer found slain by his wife's grave. The victim's son, who attended the academy with Lewis, urges him to take part in the case. As he digs deeper into the investigation, he encounters some dangerous situations. Although a suspect is taken into custody and the evidence seems compelling, the jury ultimately finds him not guilty. Frustrated by the outcome, the son begins to consider taking matters into his own hands.
