Episode Overview
As Pembleton and Brodie head to the scene of a shotgun suicide, they discover that the victim is Beau Felton, who has once again left Bayliss unaccounted for. Meanwhile, Gee's letter, containing insights from the "Burundi" case, begins to influence the upper echelons of the department. Upon returning, Frank updates the team on his own case, while Lewis ponders the next potential victim. Det. Falsone shares his theories about Felton's suicide, and Lewis and Stivers reflect on the Mahoney shooting. Cox uncovers crucial information that suggests Felton was murdered. The following day, Bayliss resurfaces but soon retreats to his Uncle George's. Pembleton and Howard collaborate with Falsone to investigate Beau’s death further, as Gee learns that Felton had been undercover for six months, infiltrating the Cantwell auto-theft ring.
