Episode Overview
Detectives Ballard and Bayliss are summoned to investigate the perplexing death of a woman discovered at the base of a steep forty-foot cliff, just a day before her wedding. They delve into whether her demise was a tragic accident or a deliberate act, either murder or suicide. Simultaneously, Detectives Sheppard and MGee look into the death of a disruptive moviegoer found lifeless after the theater emptied. MGee shares with Sheppard the exciting news of his sister's impending childbirth, making him a soon-to-be grandfather. Their inquiry uncovers that the victim's obnoxious behavior had upset the theater's business, leading them to question the owner embroiled in a lawsuit with the deceased. Unfortunately, Ballard and Bayliss's investigation hits a dead end.
