Episode Overview
Mike Kellerman has transitioned to a career in private investigation, primarily focusing on infidelity cases. Meanwhile, Falsone and Stivers stumble upon a disturbing case involving a newborn's body discovered buried behind a motel. The infant was born in a room booked with a credit card belonging to a young woman. When they track down the girl, Debbie, she faints and is taken to the hospital. Her partner, Craig, is also found, and both insist the baby was stillborn. However, the autopsy indicates the baby was alive at birth, leading to a homicide ruling. Falsone observes that only Craig shows remorse. Kellerman, over drinks with Sheppard, probes about the investigation, and later, he is tasked by Debbie's defense team to conduct his own inquiry. Meanwhile, Gee pressures Falsone and Stivers to secure incriminating evidence before Kellerman can proceed.
