Dr. James introduces a new exercise program for the elderly in the ward, much to Patsy's dismay, as she focuses on her "Make Someone Happy" project that features a live pianist and a fountain. DiDi reveals to her union representative that Patsy's past with Dawn is evidence that her previous homophobic remark was made in jest. A homeless woman, along with a foul odor, mysteriously appears in the ward, leading the staff to investigate. Phyllis comes to visit her ailing mother. Dawn wins the top prize in Dr. James' charity raffle. Meanwhile, Dr. James contemplates a job relocation after discovering she must re-apply for a position she never actually wanted.
