After Berta hurts her back on the job, Walden and Alan start to consider whether it might be time for her to hang up her apron. However, when they bring up the idea of retirement, Berta takes offense and ultimately decides to quit. In her absence, Walden and Alan experiment with a series of different maids, but none seem to meet their expectations.
