Charlie escapes his unappealing date by heading to a coffee shop, where he unexpectedly runs into his ex-girlfriend, Lisa. She reveals that she has divorced her husband and is now a mother. Charlie struggles to assure her that he’s comfortable with her new life as a parent. Meanwhile, Jake is attempting to explain to his dad the reasons behind his poor academic performance.
