As Theo gets ready to graduate from New York University, Cliff is overjoyed and keeps inviting more guests to the ceremony, even though Theo is restricted to a small number of tickets. During the graduation, Cliff reflects on Theo's journey, recalling when a 14-year-old Theo struggled in 9th grade, earning D's and showing little interest in higher education. Meanwhile, Denise calls to share her pregnancy news, prompting Olivia to depart for Singapore to be with Denise and Martin.
