S01E11 The Frogman
Episode Overview
After spending some time by the river admiring the boats, Mr. Benn heads to the costume shop and tries on a frogman suit. Upon leaving the changing room, he finds himself on a rugged shoreline. As he dives in to explore the underwater world, he is soon interrupted by the crews of two submarines, both on the hunt for a sea monster. During his adventure, Mr. Benn meets a lovely mermaid and assists her in finding a seashell to present to the ruler of her underwater realm. When he visits King Neptune, he discovers that both the king and his pet sea monster are unable to venture out due to the disruptive submarines. Mr. Benn devises a clever scheme to convince the sailors they've spotted the monster, hoping they'll leave the area.
