Struggling with his studies, Moose turns to Dilton's latest creation, a helmet that boosts his intelligence. Initially thrilled with his newfound smarts, Moose quickly becomes reliant on the device, secretly using it to gain telekinetic powers. However, the helmet also brings out an uncontrollable anger, causing Moose to neglect his friends, abandon football, and break Midge's heart in the process. His obsession with the invention takes a toll on his relationships, as he spirals deeper into this dangerous new persona.
