Episode Overview

As Dilton works on perfecting his latest time-travel invention, Jughead and Archie engage in a debate about fate. Jughead is convinced it exists, while Archie shows little interest, even after reading a horoscope that seems to foreshadow a rough day ahead. Later that evening, during Archie's date with Veronica, Dilton interrupts to share updates on his time-travel device. Veronica is clearly annoyed by the disruption, prompting Dilton to leave, but he's soon followed by Riverdale High's oldest senior, who has his sights set on using Dilton's invention for a very specific purpose—getting nachos at Pop Tate's.
