Episode Overview
As Christmas approaches, it's the perfect opportunity to celebrate Warner Brothers' beloved holiday film "Elf." Hosts Ree Drummond and Eddie Jackson invite four exceptional cookie artisans to draw inspiration from "the seven levels of the candy cane forest" and "the sea of swirly-twirly gumdrops" to craft cookies that depict Buddy's adventures not shown in the film. At the end, one "cotton-headed ninny muggin" will be eliminated just in time for the holidays, while the most imaginative cookie creator will gain an advantage for the next challenge. The three finalists will then create 3D pop-up cookie book displays of their favorite "Elf" scene, incorporating Buddy the Elf's favorite ingredients: maple syrup, chocolate syrup, candy-coated chocolates, chocolate pastries, or cooked spaghetti. One talented individual will take home $10,000 and the prestigious Golden Ornament.
