When Lux and Bug get apprehended by the police for breaking curfew, Lux's social worker believes it's essential to reassess Cate and Baze's custody arrangement. In a meeting with the social worker, the trio puts on a cheerful front, determined to keep Lux from returning to foster care. Meanwhile, in a bid to demonstrate her support for Lux, Cate tries to help Bug secure a job at her radio station, but ultimately lets Lux down once more.
