Can Gordon learn to navigate the waters alongside them in this idyllic setting? Upon his arrival, Gordon faces a chilly welcome marked by traditional ceremonies. However, he soon bonds with his mentors, cousins Moses and Sosimo, who introduce him to freediving and spear fishing. As he dives, Gordon discovers that sharks are not the fierce hunters they seem; rather, they are more interested in fish than humans. He learns of the island’s delicate balance with the ocean, as declining fish populations and the shark-finning industry threaten their way of life.
