As an important conference at U.N.C.L.E. headquarters approaches, strange occurrences unfold involving a mysterious man named Mr. Hemmingway (Richard Haydn), who inexplicably appears and vanishes within the building. Solo and Illya discover that Waverly has brought him in to assess the security measures. However, THRUSH has its own mole, Riley (Peter Haskell), who, under the orders of Dr. Egret (Lee Meriwether), sets an explosive fake tabletop on the conference table. With only moments to spare before the conference starts, Solo races against time to uncover the identity of the saboteur.
