Title: The Birds and the Bees Affair Plot: THRUSH, collaborating with Dr. Elias Swan, has engineered a lethal swarm of tiny bees. THRUSH operative Mr. Mozart seizes Illya and Tavia Sandor, employing a high-frequency sound device that endangers their hearing to coerce Illya into guiding him to U.N.C.L.E. headquarters for the release of the deadly insects. Although Illya complies, Mozart is thwarted during an intense rooftop confrontation, where he is shot, allowing the bees to escape into the wild.
