Episode Overview
Solo and Illya are tasked with probing a strange beam from the heavens that has wiped out a village in Africa. Their investigation leads them to the notorious safecracker Luther Sebastian (Bradford Dillman), who has become the leader of a cult named the Third Way. They recruit him to assist in their mission to infiltrate Parviz Kharmusi's (John Dehner) safe and reclaim the thermal prism responsible for the deadly ray. Meanwhile, Solo encounters Annie Justin (Carol Lynley), who seeks revenge on Sebastian for framing her boyfriend. With help from Azalea (Lola Albright), Solo narrowly escapes Annie and reaches Kharmusi. However, Sebastian reveals his true intentions—he has taken the prism for himself, planning to launch it into orbit to threaten the world.
