Episode Overview

Shao Kahn brings Shang Tsung back to life and gives him control of a powerful sphere that governs the elements of nature: fire, wind, water, and earth. Shang Tsung is perfectly suited for this role, as his maliciousness amplifies the sphere's magic. He unleashes a series of natural disasters, leaving Raiden vulnerable and the Earth’s warriors trapped, unable to assist the God of Thunder. Ultimately, Raiden must determine the world's destiny. Despite his weakened state, good prevails over evil, bolstered by the magic's light. After defeating Shang Tsung, Raiden sends the sphere to the Netherrealm.
