When asked to read at the civil union of two friends, Will and Grace engage in a witty argument about her self-centered, take-what-she-can ways, while Will feels burdened by taking on all the responsibility. Deep down, he’s unsettled by Grace’s behavior, which feels more wifely than friendly. Meanwhile, Karen attempts to support a caffeine-fueled Jack who is struggling with the aftermath of a failed crush, but his excessive coffee consumption means that only a tough-love strategy will get through to him.
