Dino falls ill and is brought to the veterinarian, who identifies a "dinopeptic germ" in him—something typical for dinosaurs but deadly for humans. However, when Dino's x-rays are confused with Fred's, Wilma receives a warning and is instructed to get ready for the sole known remedy: she must keep Dino awake for a full seventy-two hours without revealing the reason behind it.
