On their way to work, the guys choose to skip out and head to the ballpark instead. They each call in sick to their bosses, but Barney quickly receives a directive to see the company nurse for a wellness check. To help his friend, Fred devises a complex scheme that successfully keeps Barney from going to work, but it ends up landing him in the hospital instead.
