In his quest for wealth, Fred decides to purchase a circus. When the performers abandon ship, he enlists Barney, Dino, and Hoppy to help him put on a show. Their efforts turn out to be a hit, attracting the former performers back and prompting the original owner to reclaim the big top. To demonstrate that he has moved on from his get-rich-quick mindset, Fred declines an opportunity to buy an oil well, a decision that ironically leads to unexpected gains.
