Beauty begins to act strangely, leading Gordon to worry that she might have rabies. When she ends up attacking two men, including the new constable, a decision is made to have her put down. However, Vicky decides to protect her horse by hiding her, sensing that things aren't quite what they appear. It turns out Beauty's aggressive behavior has a valid explanation.
