Episode Overview

With McCreedy's $5000 in hand and plans to head to Santa Marta, the boys make a detour back to Texas to fetch their friend Clementine. To avoid raising suspicion, they conclude that one of them should be married. A game of poker determines the Kid's fate, but before they can depart, gunfire erupts outside. A group of men surrounds the house, intent on capturing Heyes and the Kid. Quick thinking from Heyes, along with a tale of a rumored buried treasure, helps them escape and continue their journey to Santa Marta. Once there, Clementine becomes infatuated with the alcalde, complicating matters for the Kid, who’s meant to be her husband. Meanwhile, Heyes and the Kid are anxious about the only photograph of them that Clementine possesses, which she occasionally uses to manipulate them. Things take a turn for the worse when one of the posse members from earlier reappears, leading to the alcalde's decision to arrest them.
