S03E09 The Strange Fate of Conrad Meyer Zulick
Episode Overview
Following another victory in a duel, where a man accused him of cheating, the Kid is approached by a man named "Doc" Donovan with a job offer. He wants the boys to join him in Mexico to rescue a hostage from kidnappers who are simply after their money. The Kid has a nagging feeling that Doc might know their identities, but they can't be sure why he'd hire them instead of just claiming the ransom himself. They successfully sneak out the hostage, Mr. Zulick, but are pursued by the kidnappers. After pulling off a daring escape, they manage to shake off their pursuers, allowing Mr. Zulick to resume his journey. However, soon after, Doc hands them over to the sheriff. But what’s Mr. Zulick's destination, and why does the sheriff seem inclined to let Heyes and the Kid go?
