Episode Overview

To evade his adoring fans, movie star Richard Burton dons a plumber's outfit. Lucy Carter, in need of plumbing assistance, mistakenly believes he's the real deal. Sam, the "plumber," finds refuge at the Carter home. Later, Lucy discovers an extraordinary diamond ring in his cast-off overalls. Just as she realizes it's the iconic diamond ring belonging to Elizabeth Taylor, it becomes stuck on her finger. This leads to a hilarious series of events as Liz frantically attempts to remove the ring. Ultimately, Lucy's hands are used as stand-ins for Liz's during a scheduled press conference with Richard and Liz.
