Episode Overview

A supposed arsonist, thought to have died years earlier, resurfaces in Venice. As Chris collaborates with T.C. on the investigation, she is forced to face her own traumatic childhood experiences involving fire. To gain insights on capturing the elusive Phoenix, they turn to an unusual inmate serving time for arson, who may hold the key to their success. Meanwhile, Cory is on a relentless pursuit of the "Snakeman," the last unlicensed vendor on the Venice Boardwalk. In a comical twist, she nearly captures him during a wet t-shirt contest, where she unexpectedly finds herself on stage, doused with water and crowned the winner. Adding to the chaos, a rogue rat has invaded the precinct's evidence room, stealing a significant stash of speed, making it a formidable challenge to catch. To tackle this issue, the precinct calls in a father-son extermination duo known as Rat Man and Rat Boy.
