Pacific Blue (1996)

Episode Overview

In the midst of apprehending an armed robbery suspect, T.C. is knocked unconscious and loses his firearm. Struggling with the incident, T.C.'s situation worsens when the suspect is later found dead, shot by T.C.'s gun. This weapon leads to a series of crimes and ultimately ends up in the possession of a sixteen-year-old boy, who is being bullied by a gang on the boardwalk. To escape his tormentors, he considers using the gun for a drastic solution. Meanwhile, Victor and Chris respond to an eight-year-old who claims his dog was stolen. Initially dismissive, they soon track a partial license plate to a kennel linked to research labs. In a lighthearted twist, Cory enrolls Chris in a video-dating service as a prank. Initially frustrated, Chris begins to see it as a unique way to filter potential dates without the usual pressures.
