Episode Overview
Jackie Earl Bates, a Texas thief, arrives in Santa Monica with his girlfriend, Erlene Keene, claiming they’ve struck it rich in the lottery. Erlene dreams of becoming a centerfold model and a TV star. However, Jackie continues his criminal antics, and his attempts to evade capture are complicated by Tyrone Justice, a relentless bounty hunter tracking him from Texas. Meanwhile, Cory and Victor stumble upon a couple thought to be lost at sea, which catches media attention. Ginger Delvecchio, the host of the MTV-style show "Blast Off," hires Victor and Cory for security against two college boys attempting to steal her bikini top. Later, Cory feels betrayed upon discovering the couple faked their disappearance for profit.
