Pacific Blue (1996)

Episode Overview

Following a haunting dream in which her deceased mother confronts her during an arrest, Cory finds herself in a car crash that leaves her with a knee injury. As she focuses on her recovery, she becomes fixated on her mother's cryptic warning: "Beware the simple things." Interpreting it as a sign to leave the police force and seek a more balanced life, she contemplates a change. Meanwhile, two Korean twins utilize their impressive martial arts skills to take justice into their own hands along the boardwalk, drawing media attention and causing trouble for the Pacific Blue team. When apprehended, they confess their intention was to gain fame for a film opportunity. However, their actions have inadvertently disrupted a criminal's scheme to circulate counterfeit cash in the area.
