Episode Overview
Just before her vacation, Jamie crosses paths with a singer whose uplifting music gave her strength during her time in prison. After discovering the singer unconscious, Jamie takes her home to recover. Upon waking, the singer seizes Jamie's gun and flees. Determined to help, Jamie tracks her to her mother's residence. After a heartfelt conversation, the singer reveals her struggles with a corrupt record producer who exploits her and threatens her if she tries to leave. Although the singer dismisses Jamie's concerns as non-criminal, Jamie is undeterred and decides to investigate independently. With Monica's assistance and an unreleased song, they set a trap for the producer. When he sends a goon after the singer, Jamie intervenes just in time. Ultimately, she helps the singer land a new gig.
