Sally's unexpected pregnancy with Alan fills Charles with excitement, as he believes it will spark a baby boom at Whitecross. However, Sally wishes to settle down with Alan as his wife, while he has different plans in mind. As tensions rise, Charles finds himself clashing with Melanie, Ruth, and even Pet, complicating the situation further.
