Pepper Ann and her friends are given the task of caring for dolls that they must take with them at all times. Feeling overwhelmed by her perceived inability to manage her doll, Pepper Ann struggles to keep track of it and is frustrated by its constant crying. She begins to doubt her responsibility, leading to a series of comedic mishaps as she navigates the challenges of doll ownership while trying to prove she can handle the responsibility.
