In the season premiere, Host Eden Grinshpan and Head Judge Mark McEwan greet 12 talented chefs from across the nation as they embark on the country’s most esteemed cooking competition, vying for the largest prize in Top Chef Canada history and the title of Canada’s Top Chef. For the inaugural Quickfire Challenge, contestants must craft their ideal “Desert Island Dish,” the one meal they’d choose to savor every day while stranded. The top four dishes will receive a significant advantage. Later, during the Elimination Challenge, chefs draw on the excitement of a new decade, creating dishes that embody the future of cuisine. At Judges Table, reality hits as they confront the season's first elimination.
