Heathcliff finds out from a rumor that his overly cheerful and somewhat naive dog friend, Chauncey, has been taken by the dogcatcher in a neighboring town. Despite Chauncey’s quirks, Heathcliff realizes he isn’t such a bad companion after all and makes a plan to rescue him from the pound.
