Fi makes the choice to move in with her aunt for the school year, hoping to leave behind the supernatural and return to a more ordinary existence. Meanwhile, family friend Annie Phelan joins the tour. To Fi's surprise, she discovers that Annie also has a supernatural presence, particularly when her previously featureless ring suddenly comes to life with intricate designs upon being worn by Annie.
