Episode Overview
During the harvest festival, Worzel is tasked with helping the vicar by scaring away starlings from the church rafters. Meanwhile, the vicar is also looking after an orphan named Samantha. Worzel takes his position in the graveyard, but as darkness descends, he becomes frightened by the thought of ghosts. While the church choir rehearses for the festival service, John and Sue recognize Samantha in her striking white smock—she’s actually Aunt Sally in disguise! As the choir sings, Aunt Sally sneaks away to the vicarage to devour Mrs. Braithwaite's supper. However, Worzel spots her and races to the vicarage first. When Aunt Sally arrives, he realizes there’s no ghost after all, but there’s plenty of tea and cake waiting for the choir members!
