Ryn persists in her efforts to guide the other mermaids toward human behaviors to facilitate their integration, but dissent begins to grow among them, leading Ryn to question her own humanity. Maddie faces peril as she tries to assist her mother. At the same time, Ben and Xander mend their differences, joining forces to help the mermaid group return to the ocean.
