The second season of Coast Guard Alaska launches with an intense narrative. On January 24, 2012, Air Station Kodiak faces a challenging night as they receive emergency calls from two struggling fishing boats. The Guardsmen rally all available resources, both on the ground and in the skies, to confront fierce hurricane-strength winds and frigid subzero temperatures in a desperate effort to save 11 individuals whose lives hang in the balance.
