The first call comes in for the Pump, where George and Pearce discover a disturbing odor emanating from an old, boarded-up apartment. Tragically, they find a body that has been there for quite some time. Meanwhile, ADO Davies arrives at the Station with the Health and Safety report, which infuriates Maggie when he declares the kitchen a health risk, leading her to resign in frustration. Meanwhile, Billy confronts his sister Jo about her living situation. As he attempts to force her into his car, her companion intervenes, resulting in a fight that lands Billy at the Police Station. Later, the Watch responds to a major hospital fire, necessitating an evacuation as flames spread through the roof. In a shocking twist, the police arrest Billy on suspicion of murder after the man he attacked earlier is discovered dead in his flat.
