Episode Overview
On Friday the 13th, the Pump is put on standby at Upton, which is set to be Carol’s new station if the merger happens. After the Pump departs, a new siren is installed, and Pearce quickly develops an interest in technician Fiona. Their first call takes them to a rubbish fire in the woods, where they encounter Sicknote with some of his protestor friends. Meanwhile, at Upton, the crew discovers they have no power. Gregg checks the fuse box and sees a fuse has been removed; he replaces it without understanding why it was taken out. Their next call involves two identical twins trapped in a lift, causing George to think he’s seeing things until Carol clarifies the situation. They then respond to a car driving in circles in a parking lot. Upon returning to Upton, they find the station ablaze. Carol reports the fire, and they manage to put it out. When the Upton Sub returns, he reveals issues with the fuse box
