Episode Overview
After Hallam intervenes to rescue a distressed claimant who has set himself on fire in a DHSS office, Blue Watch races to a construction site where a trench has collapsed. The foreman disregarded safety warnings, resulting in a young worker being trapped beneath the rubble. Malcolm bravely uses his own body to shield the boy from further danger, ultimately saving his life. Tate informs the team that he’s nominating Malcolm for a bravery award, turning him into a local hero and drawing media attention, much to Sicknote's chagrin, as his petition to No.10 about the City Farm only garners local press coverage. Meanwhile, Technique is expelled from the Brigade for taking on extra work, and he cautions Bayleaf, who is doing some decorating for extra cash. Bayleaf must leave his project incomplete, while George takes up ballroom dancing in his quest for love.
