Episode Overview
Blue Watch is on night shift and responds to a series of what Tate refers to as “looney tune calls,” including a dustbin fire and a pregnant cat stuck in a tree. The crew is glad to have Bayleaf back in the mess, but their meal is interrupted when the alarm sounds. Tate swipes Malcolm's sandwich, which later proves useful for freeing a man's head stuck in railings during his stag night. Upon returning to the station, they discover their dinner has burned. Colin is sent out for a Chinese takeaway but returns with just rice and noodles. Meanwhile, Kevin reconnects with his father, freshly released from prison, who asks Marion for a place to stay but quickly steals her gas and electric money. Bayleaf narrowly avoids disaster when he falls through the ceiling, saved only by his lifeline to Kate. Sicknote reveals his plans to run in the local elections.
