Episode Overview
A small plane carrying two businessmen crashes into a warehouse, splitting in two and igniting a nearby lorry. When Blue Watch arrives, they must figure out how to stabilize the aircraft to reach the seriously injured passenger and the deceased pilot. They decide to elevate the fuselage using a large airbag. Meanwhile, Acting Station Officer Hallam is under review for a promotion, leading his wife Sandra to confidently order a new kitchen, anticipating his increased pay. Clare moves in with Bayleaf, while Malcolm finds a sophisticated law student named Helen to share his home to help with the mortgage. Sicknote chooses to run as the Green candidate in local elections, and Dozy Colin mistakenly sends Hallam and the fire truck to the wrong hotel for a fire, but fortunately, it's just a hoax. Colin's probation is extended by three months due to the blunder.
