Episode Overview
The arrival of new Station Officer Nick Georgiadis shakes things up at the station. As a strict enforcer of discipline, he criticizes the appearance and behavior of everyone, including Hallam, creating a tense work environment. Their relief comes when they're called to a sewer where three men have been injured in a gas explosion. Two of the men were trying to fix a fault upstream when gas filled the chamber, blocking their ability to hear the gas detector. With Nick's strong leadership, Blue Watch manages to rescue the trapped workers. Later, Nick discusses their professional dynamic with Hallam, while at home, Hallam faces Sandra's relentless complaints about the kitchen. Meanwhile, Kevin gets into a fight with his sister's boyfriend, Rick, and after roll call, Nick sends the injured Kevin home.
