ACO Bulstrode summons Nick to his office to discuss an incident involving a fire truck colliding with a motorcycle. Kevin shares the distressing news with George that his father has cancer. A frantic father arrives at the station with his young son, who is choking. Nick quickly intervenes, delivering a firm pat on the back to help dislodge the obstruction. Meanwhile, Patti Pearce arrives in London to start a new life with her husband. Billy takes his latest girlfriend for a ride in his passion wagon. Bayleaf is haunted by nightmares from the accident. Colin encourages Zoë to consider having children, but she remains focused on her career. A group of vagrants hiding in an old cellar gets high on glue, leading to an explosion.
