Episode Overview
Nick returns to the station and scolds Billy and Pearce for their brawling. Meanwhile, a man tragically sets himself and a room filled with paint cans ablaze. George, feeling the weight of Jaffa's incident, acts rashly in an attempt to save him. Pearce notices that Sandra is back on the job hunt, and soon enough, she runs into Patti at the job center. Uncle Yanni and his friends confront Nick about Ariadne in front of everyone at the station. Later, Nick meets with ACO Bulstrode, where Scase attempts to provoke him but ends up on the receiving end of Bulstrode's reprimand. Sally informs Nick that she’s considering transferring to the Northwest to be nearer her sick father. The fire brigade organizes a charity raft race for burn victims, featuring some outrageous costumes. Nick publicly appears with Ariadne for the first time, sparking rumors. George is pulled away from the race early when Kelly goes into labor. He shows
