Episode Overview
Sandra becomes suspicious when she overhears Hallam talking to Patti on the phone. Meanwhile, Billy lets Donald take the wheel of the pump ladder and turn on the blue lights, but Pearce catches them and sends Donald away angrily. Feeling rejected, Donald hides in an abandoned factory where he has created a model fire station. Blue Watch is dispatched to a City Farm where a smith has ignited a straw fire. They work to extinguish the flames and ensure the animals are safe. Sicknote rescues a scruffy dog and decides to adopt it, while Billy playfully teases Kevin about Sally, leading to a scuffle. Hallam tells Billy to help evacuate the pigs, but he ends up falling into mud, prompting his colleagues to hose him down. Sandra shares her concerns about Hallam and Patti with Jean. Pearce chooses to take the bus home, breaking his usual ride with Hallam. When Sicknote brings the dog home, Jean panics and locks it in the shed
