Episode Overview

After narrowly avoiding a manhole cover, Bayleaf chooses to leave the brigade to focus on the restaurant he's opening with Claire. Meanwhile, Blue Watch responds to a fire at a registry office. Tensions rise between Remy and Kevin as they argue over Mickey, with Remy struggling to understand Kevin's loyalty to his brother. During a training exercise, a motorcyclist becomes trapped beneath a heavy lorry. The local brigade gets bogged down in mud with their pump, prompting Blue Watch to assist using a helicopter. A female firefighter manages to rescue the trapped motorcyclist just before the lorry collapses. Bayleaf then surprises everyone by announcing his departure from the watch. Hallam decides to end things with Jenny now that Sandra has returned, and Patti makes another appearance.
