Episode Overview
The factory fire continues to rage uncontrollably. Hallam and Pearce are positioned on the metal walkways, attempting to rescue a group of children who had been watching a pop video from above. Suddenly, a piece of iron gives way, causing Hallam to lose his footing and plummet several feet to the ground. He is rushed to the hospital, and Recall is also admitted, prompting Laura to travel from Scotland to be by his side. Sandra returns and is devastated to hear that Hallam has only a 50-50 chance of survival. Overwhelmed with emotion, she breaks down in tears. As the team grapples with the aftermath of the tragedy, they receive the heartbreaking news that Hallam has succumbed to his injuries.
